Childrens Day 2023
Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya celebrated the Annual Children’s Day on the 02nd of October 2023, joining with St. Mary’s Sinhala Mix School, Colombo 04. Emphasizing the theme of ‘Inclusion for every child’ we enjoyed Sanisa’ 23, a musical program organized by the Eastern Music Unit in the school. All the sisters & brothers from St. Mary’s Sinhala Mix School and St. Paul’s Girls School, Milagiriya enjoyed the day with Sirimavians.
Asteri’23 Annual Night Sky Observation
The Annual Night Sky Observation Camp is one of the most anticipated events of the year for students of our school. This year, the camp was held on a clear and starry night, providing the perfect conditions for observing the wonders of the night sky with the collaboration of Nalanda College Astronomical Society.
The night was filled with excitement and wonder as students discovered new celestial objects and learned about the mysteries of the universe. The camp provided a unique opportunity for students to engage in hands-on learning and fostet their curiosity about the world around them.
Overall, the annual night sky observation camp was a resounding success, leaving students with unforgettable memories and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of the night sky.

The prefect Investiture Ceremony of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya was held on 17th of April 2023 under the patronage of madam principal , R.A.M.R .Herath in the school premises.About 100 senior and junior prefects were appointed for the academic year 2023.
